Chocolate Sea Salt Nice Cream

Whenever summer hits, I crave all things cold and all things sweet. Especially this summer, it has been so hot that I seriously crave ice cream every single day. While there are quite a few good dairy free ice cream alternatives on the market, I still love to create my own. I love how easy and simple I can make it without adding a bunch of ingredients I don’t necessarily love. That’s why I’ve been loving sharing these Nice Cream recipes all summer long. I have been on a nice cream roll recently so expect more of these in the near future 🙂

Chocolate Sea Salt Nice Cream

Easy to make, perfect dessert for the summer!

Equipment

  • food processor
  • blender

Ingredients

  • 4 large frozen bananas
  • 1/3 cup almond butter
  • 1/3 cup almond milk
  • 1/3 cup cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  • Chop bananas into chunks and freeze overnight
  • Add the frozen bananas with the other ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth. The mixture should resemble a thick smoothie
  • Pour the mixture into a lined loaf pan or ice cream tray (if you have one) and smooth out the top
  • Freeze overnight
  • When you're ready to eat it, take it out of the freezer for a little and let it defrost. Use an ice cream scooper and enjoy!
