Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 1/3 cup coconut flour

  • 1/2 cup applesauce (can sub 2 eggs)

  • 1/4 cup smooth almond butter

  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar

  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1/3 cup cacao powder

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips

Recipe:

  1. Combine all wet ingredients first to create a smooth mixture

  2. Add in the dry ingredients and mix well. The batter will be thicker, but slightly sticky, that’s ok! You can add the chocolate chips into this mixture, or add them on the top of the cookies later

  3. Using an ice cream scooper, measure out even balls of batter and place on a non-stick baking sheet. The batter will be stickier, so using your hands could get messy

  4. Press extra chocolate chips on top and smooth out any rough cookie edges with your finger. If you wet your finger with a little water, you can remove any pointy peaks or edges to create smoother looking cookies

  5. Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes and enjoy!

  6. These cookies turn out perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. This isn’t a step, just wanted to remind y’all how good these cookies turn out 🙂
