Ingredients

  • 1 Asian Grill Flank Steak (AdapTable Meals)
  • 1 bag mini potatoes
  • 1 whole red onion
  • 1 whole garlic
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt, black pepper, umami seasoning

Instructions

  • In one medium-sized baking dish, spray with avocado oil to prevent sticking and place in 1 bag of mini chopped potatoes, 1 diced red onion, 1 whole garlic cut down the middle
  • Drizzle avocado oil right on top and season veggies with salt, pepper, and umami (about 1/2 tsp of each). You can always step out of your comfort zone and add even more spices you normally wouldn't.
  • Place in oven at 450 F and bake for about 10 minutes.
  • Take the veggies out of the oven and carefully create space for the steak in the center. Place steak in the middle and set oven to broil. Place back in the oven and broil for 8 minutes on one side.
  • Flip the steak and broil on the other side for 8 minutes. Please note that some veggies may get dark at this point, so you can mix the veggies up to prevent burning or take some out as the rest of the meal cooks.
  • Cut the steak against the grain when it's time to eat. This keeps the steak from getting chewy. Plate your steak and veggies and enjoy.
