After I made the vanilla frosting the other day, I knew I had to make a chocolate frosting as well. I could have made it so much easier on myself and just added cacao to the cashew cream frosting recipe I already had, but I wanted to make a completely new recipe. I wanted to cut the ingredients in half and think about what people might have in their homes already. Since avocados are universal, I went with a base of avocado to make this frosting. You can melt any chocolate bar for more sweetness since cacao can be a little bitter on it’s own. I obviously recommend Hu Kitchen chocolate because their ingredients are so simple without all those added sugars. You can also add more maple syrup than I said to, but that’s totally up to you and your taste buds. I’ve been dipping strawberries into this frosting all week long for a snack, but you can also use it top a cupcake or frost a cake. The opportunities are endless. Hope you guys like it!
