Gluten Free, Vegan, Dairy Free, Refined Sugar Free, and totally amazing.
Ingredients:
For the Cookie:

1 and 1/2 cups almond flour

2 tbsp applesauce

2 tbsp maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla

pinch sea salt
For the Frosting:

1/2 cup dairy free yogurt
-
1/2 cup almond butter
-
4 tsp coconut sugar
Recipe:

Make the frosting first! Combine the ingredients and mix well to create a smooth mixture. Place the frosting in a piping bag with a piping tip, or even just a ziplock bag works too, and place in the fridge for a few hours

Make the cookies: Combine all ingredients for the cookies in one bowl and mix well. This should form a thicker batter, so you might have to use your hands towards the end!

Roll the batter out flat on a non stick baking surface, and use a mason jar lid or a circle cookie cutter to create the sugar cookie shapes

Place the cut outs on a non stick or lined baking dish and use the back of a spoon to gently press the center of each cookie down to create a “bowl” like shape

Bake the cookies for about 15 minutes at 350, or until the edges become golden brown

Let the cookies cool completely before frosting

Optional: add strawberry slices to the tops for a fruity finish
