FLOURLESS Strawberry Chocolate Chip Blondies to be exact. I’ve been really loving these flourless recipes recently because they require much fewer ingredients and they’re cheaper to make. I especially love this recipe because you can easily sub the almond butter or tahini for any other similar ingredient. For example: don’t have almond butter? Add cashew butter. Don’t have tahini? Add extra nut butter of any kind. The only tip I have is to use a nut butter or tahini that’s a bit on the runnier side. If it’s too thick, the consistency won’t be the same and I’m not sure how that will affect the texture of the blondies. I hope you guys love this recipe as much as I do, happy baking!
Ingredients
-
1/2 cup almond butter (on the runnier side)
-
1/2 cup tahini (you can sub this for extra nut butter)
-
1/3 cup honey
-
1 egg
-
1/4 tsp sea salt
-
1/4 cup applesauce
-
1/2 tsp baking soda
-
1/2 cup chopped strawberries
-
1/3 cup chocolate chips/chunks
Instructions
-
Mix together all wet ingredients first to create a smooth, well mixed mixture. Leave out the strawberries and chocolate for now
-
Add in the dry (baking soda and salt) and mix well
-
Add in the strawberries and chocolate chips here and evenly distribute into the mixture
-
Pour the mixture into a lined or non stick 8×8 baking dish and smooth out the top. You can sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top before baking here
-
Bake the blondies at 350 for about 35 minutes or until golden brown
-
Let cool, cut into cubes, and enjoy!
