Hi guys! I’m way to excited for this recipe it’s unreal. It’s one of my favorites to date (I feel like I say that every time, but this time I mean it) I don’t have anything to say, just want to share the recipe. So here we go:
Ingredients:
Chocolate Chip Cookies:
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 3 tbs applesauce
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- pinch sea salt
- 4 tbs chocolate chips
Chocolate Cookies:
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 2 tbs cacao powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 3 tbs applesauce
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- pinch sea salt
Recipe:
Make the white cookies first:
- Combine the dry ingredients first and then add in the wet
- Mix super well to make the cookie dough
- Form the dough into a ball and flatten out
- Place the dough on a parchment sheet or non stick foil and flatten. You can use a rolling pin, but I just pressed it out flat with my hands
- Leave it out to the side
Make the chocolate cookies:
- Combine the dry ingredients first and then add in the wet
- Mix super well to make the cookie dough
- Form the dough into a ball and flatten out
- Place the dough on the first layer of cookie dough and press it flat. The layers should match up and be even in thickness
- Use the parchment paper to carefully roll it the long way so the chocolate layer is well covered by the chocolate chip layer
- Cut the dough into about 1/2 inch sections and gently press them down a little
- Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes. They should be nice and soft in the center once they’re cooled! E N J O Y
