5-Ingredient Cookie Butter

Anyone ever get the cookie butter from Trader Joes? It used to be one of my favorite foods until I could no longer eat it. I eventually discovered almond butter which is one of my favorite foods now, but I never stopped searching for a better version of the amazing cookie butter. I needed it to be gluten and dairy free and I always prefer things to be refined sugar free. If something has refined sugar, I will eat it don’t get me wrong, but I don’t actually love the flavor of it. Regardless, I finally decided to make my own recipe! I googled endless recipes and they almost always had milk or butter or something I can’t eat. I ended up making my own by throwing a bunch of similar ingredients in a food processor and hoping for the best! The best happened guys! I am so happy this recipe was so easy to make and it’s so so good. I hope you guys like it as much as I do. ENJOY!


  • 2 boxes of Simple Mills chocolate chip cookies

  • 1/4 cup almond milk

  • 1 tbs melted coconut oil

  • 1 tbs applesauce

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

  • pinch of sea salt!


  1. Throw all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until it’s super smooth!

  2. Store in an airtight container! It will harden in the fridge, so I kept it on the counter. It was eaten in less than three days by my family so I have no idea how look the container will keep to be honest
